Buyer Demand Collapses | August 2022 Orange County Housing Report

Buyer demand has collapsed 55% and the homes that do sell are sitting on the market 41% longer year over year in Orange County.

The numbers are in for the month of August.

Buyer demand has collapsed.  Pending sales, which is a metric used to gauge buyer demand is down 55%.

The days on market are increasing.  If you’re selling you want to price correctly or else your house is going to sit because of the substantial decrease in demand.

We’re transitioning toward a neutral market as interest rates are back above 6%.
